Common Core Algebra II All Units – First Draft!!!

Hello All,

So, I wanted to post all of the FIRST DRAFT units of Common Core Algebra II in one place so folks could start to really look at the curriculum and plan a little.

There are still certainly lessons to do and questions I have. I have not yet written a lesson on 3 by 3 linear systems. I like the topic, but it doesn’t seem to fit with the overall flow and isn’t really used then for the remainder of the course. I like that topic a lot in Precalculus when starting to develop matrices.

Anyhow, here’s the book:

Unit #1 Compilation.First Draft

Unit #2 Compilation.First Draft

Unit #3 Compilation.First Draft

Unit #4 Compilation.First Draft

Unit #5 Compilation.First Draft

Unit #6 Compilation.First Draft

Unit #7 Compilation.First Draft

Unit #8 Compilation.First Draft

Unit #9 Compilation.First Draft

Unit #10 Compilation.First Draft

Unit #11 Compilation.First Draft

Unit #12 Compilation.First Draft

Unit #13 Compilation.First Draft

Here’s a link to updated statistical simulation programs needed for unit #13:

  1. Wow you certainly do a lot of work. A table of contents would be helpful for someone to look at when checking out the material so we can see the logic of your progressions easier. I really like what I was able to read so far. You are doing lots of teachers a great service. I have not peeked at the modules yet, but I imagine these are much clearer.

  2. I found the table of contents….sorry. Great job.

  3. Kirk,

This is super helpful! I hope you will also write one on Common Core Geometry

  4. I hope to some day have the time to write CC Geometry! Thanks Xiaowu.

  5. Hi Kirk

Great job on the A2Trig. Where can I find the table of contents?

    Barbara

  6. Barbara,

Good to hear from you! Sorry it took me a bit to reply. I’ll get a post up with the Table of Contents soon for Common Core Algebra 2. If you need it sooner, email me at Kirk@emathinstruction.com

  7. Hi Kirk,

One of my colleagues is a big fan of your website. I recently started to make use of it in an effort to prepare for Algebra 2 common core. I have found your site to be very helpful. I look forward to reading your Algebra 2 lessons and materials.

    Thanks again!

  8. Matthew. Thanks for your kind words of encouragement. We hope that you find the site useful and that all of the curriculum helps both you and your students. Good luck next year and enjoy the summer ahead.

  9. Hi Kirk thanks for all of your hard work! I’m having trouble finding Unit #8-Lesson #4 on “More Work with Fractional Exponents.” Any help with this is appreciated, thanks!

  10. Michelle,

It’s not there. I accidentally didn’t compile it with the rest. If you send me an email at Info@emathinstruction.com I can send it to you.

  11. Thank you! Just sent you my email 🙂

  12. Under Etext for Algebra II, are the individual lessons Version 2 or Version 1? I saw the compilation of Version 2 (all units) but was not sure which version the individual lessons were. Is there any detail that would highlight where the differences were between the versions, if you downloaded the version 1?

Thank you for your response and all the awesome instructional material and videos. They are priceless!!!

    Debbie

  13. Debbie,

For Algebra II there is only the second draft of Version 1.0. We do have a Version 2.0 of our Common Core Algebra I, but Version 2.0 of Common Core Algebra II will not be available until the Fall of 2016. You can certainly see all of our lessons in Common Core Algebra II at:

    Common Core Algebra II

I hope this helps. If you have further questions, please send me an email at: Kirk@emathinstruction.com

  17. Hi Kirk
I just bought the Algebra 2 common core, but I need to know what are the CCLS for each lesson. Can you tell me where to find them?
    Thanks

  18. Gerry. The alignment is on the disk you bought under the curriculum folder.
