This unit starts from a basic examination of the inverses of sine, cosine, and tangent. Essential skills in equation solving are built from the basics up to quadratic trigonometric equations. Identity work is limited to cosideration of the sum and difference identities for sine and cosine as well as the double angle identities. These identities, together with the Pythagorean, are then utilized to help solve more complex equations. Finally, an exploration of solving trignometric equations graphically ties the work from the previous unit with the algebraic techniques seen in this one.
