In this lesson we look at the simplest of all linear relationships, the proportionality of two variables. This should be a review topic for students at this level and the linear graphs passing through the origin should be familiar to kids. The first exercise is an example of a discrete proportional relationships, which I kind of botch in the Answer Key. But, I still kind of think that a connected graph, although not correct mathematically, would very likely be represented this way in almost any typical graphical representation.
