We’ve finally made it to May and the school year is hitting its final stages. Many teachers are wrapping up curricula and reviewing for final exams. As we start to close the books on this school year we have one final round of new additions, so let’s get right to them.

Middle School Updates

To begin, in N-Gen Math 6 we have added new resources for Unit 12 (Probability). First, are the Unit 12 Exit Tickets. We also have added a Unit 12 Mid-Unit Quiz, Form A. Finally, we have posted the Spanish language versions of the Unit 12 Assessment and Unit 12 Review.

Similarly, in N-Gen Math 7 we have posted new materials for Unit 10 (Geometric Measurement). For Unit 10, we have added the Exit Tickets and the Mid-Unit Quiz. We also have posted the Spanish language versions of the Unit 10 Assessment and Unit 10 Review

Rounding out our middle school courses, we have new additions for two units in N-Gen Math 8. First, forUnit 11 (Systems of Equations) we have added Exit Tickets, a Mid-Unit Quiz, and Spanish language versions of the Unit 11 Assessment and Review. We also bring you the Unit 12cc (Statistics of Two Variables) Exit Tickets, Mid-Unit Quiz, and Spanish language resources.

High School Updates

In Common Core Algebra I this month, we bring you the Unit 11 (A Final Look at Functions and Modeling) Mid-Unit Quiz, Form C.

For Common Core Geometry, we have two new additions to Unit 10 (Geometric Measurement and Modeling). First, we have added a Unit 10 Mid-Unit Quiz, Form C. We also have added a practice set of problems on volume and density. This is a good sheet of problems to give kids practice with the use of various formulas along with solidifying the ideas of density based on volume.

In Common Core Algebra II we have added new resources for Unit 13 (Statistics). First, is the Unit 13 Mid-Unit Quiz, Form C. We also have included a practice sheet of problems on the normal distribution. This set of problems gives students a good chance to work with their calculators to find probabilities given the mean and standard deviation of a normally distributed population.

Finally, for Algebra 2 with Trigonometry, this month we bring you the Unit 13 (Sequences and Series), Mid-Unit Quiz.

On each night, we will be going through a single previous Regents exam. For Algebra I, it will be the June 2021 Regents exam. For Geometry, it will be the June 2019 Regents exam, and for Algebra II, it will also be the June 2019 Regents exam. You can find those exams on the New York State Regents website. We recommend that you print out the exam you need and have it in front of you for the review session to follow along.

We will give further information about the review sessions as we get closer. For now, have a great rest of May and end of the school year.
