Wow! Is it December already? It almost doesn’t seem possible. We are quickly heading towards a much-needed winter break. We know that all of the math teachers out there are working hard to finish up those final lessons and get in those final assessments before some well-deserved time off. We have a new set of resources that we know will help take some of that workload off. Here are our newest additions.
Middle School Updates
In N-Gen Math 6 this month we have the Unit 7 (Ratios and Rates) Exit Tickets and Mid-Unit Quiz. We also have published the Spanish language versions of the Unit 7 Assessment and Unit 7 Review. In N-Gen Math 7 this month, we have the Unit 5 (Linear Expressions) Exit Tickets and Mid-Unit Quiz. We have also published the Spanish language versions of the Unit 5 Assessment and Unit 5 Review. Finally, in N-Gen Math 8 we bring you resources for both Unit 6 and Unit 6cc. For both units (Functions), we have posted the Exit Tickets and Mid-Unit Quizzes. We have also published the Spanish language resources for both units.
High School Updates
In Common Core Algebra I this month we have two resources for Unit 6 (Exponents, Exponents, and More Exponents). We first bring you the Form C of the mid-unit quiz. We also have posted a fluency practice sheet with problems on percent increase and percent decrease. This is a really nice practice sheet for students before working with exponential functions based on this type of growth.
For Common Core Geometry, we have posted two resources for Unit 5 (The Tools of Coordinate Geometry). First, we have the Form C of the mid-unit quiz. We also bring you a worksheet with practice problems on the point-slope form of a line. This is a great worksheet for students who just need some more practice with this new way of writing an equation for a line.
In Common Core Algebra II this month we bring you two Form C mid-unit quizzes. We first have the mid-unit quiz for Unit 7 (Transformations of Functions) and then have the mid-unit quiz for Unit 8 (Radicals and the Quadratic Formula).
We bring you similar resources this month for Algebra 2 with Trigonometry. We first have the Form C mid-unit quiz for Unit 7 (Trigonometric Functions). We then bring you the Form C mid-unit quiz for Unit 8 (Trigonometric Algebra).
In Other News
We continue to record videos for our new N-Gen Math Algebra I course. We are very excited to be nearing completion of the book and eager to share it with those interested in using it for next year. More on that to come in early 2022.
For those of you with Common Core Algebra II memberships you will see some new resources coming your way in the new year. We will be adding access to all of the resources for Algebra 2 with Trigonometry to your membership. As of January 1st, we will no longer be selling membership access to only Algebra 2 with Trigonometry. We will have an all-encompassing Algebra II membership which will offer access to both Common Core Algebra II and Algebra 2 with Trig. We will continue to provide Add-Ons to Algebra 2 with Trig through May of 2022.
